Terrible attacks on the Kherson region: many wounded, among them small children

Due to the terrible attacks that the Russian army inflicted from the left bank, almost two dozen people were injured in the Kherson region, including small children. This was announced by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin.
According to him, over the past 24 hours (as of 6 am on December 20), the enemy carried out 82 attacks on the region, firing 356 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks, UAVs and aircraft. In particular, the enemy fired 36 shells at Kherson.
“The Russian military entered residential areas of settlements in the region, a critical infrastructure facility and a vocational education institution in the Kherson region, a preschool educational institution, a medical institution, a post office and a boat station in Kherson,” the official said.
According to him, due to Russian aggression, 16 people were injured, including 4 children.
“Over the deoccupied part of the Kherson region, air defense forces shot down 6 Shahed,” he added.
As the head of the Kherson IVA, Roman Mrochko, clarified, yesterday, during the evening shelling of Kherson by Russian invaders, 9 people were injured, including four children aged 13, 4, 2 and 10 years.
Four injured - a mother with three children - were hospitalized. Doctors assess their condition as moderate. They have concussion and blast trauma.
“Five of the wounded were provided with medical assistance on the spot - a child and four adults. They refused hospitalization,” said the head of the city administration.
