Ukraine received a mobile DNA laboratory from France.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the French Republic to Ukraine, Etienne de Ponsin, handed it over to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the UCP press service reported.
"French experts were among the first who arrived in Ukraine to help document war crimes committed by the Russian military on the territory of our state. We are grateful to our French colleagues for their support," Deputy Prosecutor General Maxim Yakubovsky said.
The DNA laboratory, which was donated by the French side as humanitarian aid, is designed to identify and identify war victims in the de-occupied territories.
Representatives of the French National Gendarmerie trained ten Ukrainian experts on the use of materials and equipment of this mobile DNA laboratory.
