As a result of another rocket attack by Russians on the night of June 9, a residential area of the Zvyagel community in the Zhytomyr region was damaged. There are dead and wounded there.
According to the Zvyagel city council, according to preliminary information, six private houses were destroyed, dozens were damaged.
“Unfortunately, one person died, there are also wounded who are being provided with all the necessary assistance. The leadership of the community, emergency services are working on the spot,” Mayor Nikolai Borovets said.
As Vitaliy Bunechko, the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military District, said later, one missile was shot down in the region by air defense forces tonight, according to preliminary data.
"As a result of the fall of debris in the city of Zvyagel, 1 residential building was destroyed and 12 damaged. As a result of the incident, 1 person died and 3 people were injured," he said.
