On the right bank of the Kherson region, two people were killed and 6 more were injured, including a child, due to attacks by the invaders.
According to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, over the past 24 hours the enemy carried out 100 attacks, firing 553 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks, AGS, LNG, aircraft and UAVs. In particular, the enemy fired 49 shells at Kherson.
“The Russian military hit residential areas of settlements in the region, buildings of educational institutions in Kherson and the Kherson region, a medical institution and a factory in Kherson, an enterprise in the Berislavsky region. Because of Russian aggression, 2 people were killed, 6 more were injured, of which 1 child," the official said.
For example, the enemy “demilitarized” a building that had been mothballed and hit a children’s hospital. According to Prokudin, fortunately, no patients were admitted there on October 12, so there were no casualties. However, the room has suffered significant damage. The official showed on video what this medical facility looks like as a result of the shelling.
Also, according to him, the occupiers fired at Chernobaevka. The residential sector was hit and a 70-year-old man died.
As the OVA clarified, as a result of these and previous “arrivals”, dozens of houses in the village were damaged, and there was a partial loss of electricity.
Also, in the evening, the Russian army struck the village of Nikolskoye - a man born in 1948 was injured.
According to the Kherson OVA, over the previous day, October 11, the enemy carried out 98 attacks on the region, firing 500 shells from various types of weapons. Then the Russian military entered residential areas of settlements, the building of an educational institution in the Berislavsky district, and the territory of a cemetery in the Kherson region. On that day, four people were injured in the Kherson region due to Russian aggression.
