Ukraine received the first F-16 fighters. We are talking about six aircraft from the Netherlands.
The Times writes about this with reference to its own sources. It is noted that Ukraine will soon also begin to receive F-16 fighters from Denmark.
The publication recalled that Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren informed the parliament in her letter dated July 1 that "delivery of the first fighters will begin soon."
In turn, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on June 16 that fighters from Denmark will begin to arrive "in the near future."
