In a bid to support women in Ukraine's temporarily occupied territories, the Projector Foundation, with the backing of ISAR Unity, has embarked on a project offering free online courses in the creative and IT sectors. This initiative, as reported by Ukrinform with reference to the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, opens up opportunities for women who have been affected by the ongoing conflict.
Within the course, students will work on real client projects, enabling them to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills necessary for entry-level positions. The training covers three major directions: Web Design Beginners (30 participants, duration: 3 months), IT Project Management (20 participants, duration: 3 months), and Social Media Marketing (SMM) (20 participants, duration: 2 months).
Upon completing the course, participants will receive certificates and ready-made case studies for their portfolios. Those interested in enrolling can register until 23:00 on October 17th using the provided link.
It's worth noting that since the beginning of 2023, the government has disbursed compensation totaling 126 million hryvnias to businesses that have employed internally displaced persons under a state program. For every displaced worker hired, the state provides employers with compensation equal to the minimum wage (6,700 hryvnias) for two months.
