North Korea is turning into one of the largest suppliers of weapons to Russia, but it is still unclear exactly what the DPRK will receive from the Russian side for this.
This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense on the X network (Twitter), citing intelligence data. "Despite Russia's official dismissal of recent reports, it is almost certain that shells from North Korea have now reached ammunition depots in western Russia," the intelligence report said.
In particular, these warehouses are used to support Russian military operations in Ukraine.
“If North Korea maintains its current scale and pace of military shipments (more than 1,000 containers over the past few weeks), it will be on track to become one of the most significant foreign arms suppliers to Russia, along with Iran and Belarus,” - noted in the message.
At the same time, it is unclear exactly what Russia agreed to provide to North Korea in exchange for weapons. In particular, it is unlikely that the complete package has been finalized.
"It is very likely that this was one of the main topics of discussion during recent visits by Russian officials to North Korea," the report said.
