The EDB is currently implementing a program for the restoration of destroyed and damaged homes in Ukraine. Additionally, they are working on a health-related program, specifically focusing on mental health and rehabilitation. The plan is to merge the Recovery and Dwelling programs, allowing those in need to make advances for destroyed housing through the mortgage program. Ukraine has invited the EDB to join this initiative, emphasizing the interest in the bank's rich experience in rebuilding social infrastructure and aligning with EU standards.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy, Yulia Sviridenko, expressed the country's interest in the EDB's involvement in housing rehabilitation, healthcare, education, and the development of rehabilitation centers for veterans. The EDB's extensive experience is seen as invaluable in rebuilding the social infrastructure of Ukraine and moving closer to EU standards.

The EDB's leadership has shown interest in financing the restoration of housing infrastructure in Ukraine, recognizing its positive impact on the country's socio-demographic situation. The bank is particularly keen on supporting vulnerable population groups to provide them with affordable housing, which could serve as a significant incentive for Ukrainians to return home. Currently, the bank, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, is developing specific practical tools to deepen cooperation.
