Grant Impact on Business Development:
Under the eWork program, nearly 9,000 Ukrainians have already received grants from the government to either kickstart their businesses or enhance existing ventures. Over 2,000 of these entrepreneurs utilized the grant funds to establish new enterprises, while others focused on scaling their businesses, expanding production, and launching new ventures.

Investment in Entrepreneurship:

The first deputy prime minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy, Yulia Sviridenko, emphasized that the state has invested a total of 5 billion hryvnias to activate entrepreneurship. These investments not only contribute to the growth of small and medium-sized businesses but also improve the overall employment situation. Grant recipients, through project implementation, are expected to generate approximately 35,000 new job opportunities.

Program Expansion and Results:

Since the launch of the eWork project in July 2022, various grant programs have been implemented to support different sectors. The "Own Business" program, initiated under eWork, issued 8,013 microgrants totaling 1.9 billion hryvnias. Additionally, 487 grants, amounting to 2.5 billion hryvnias, were allocated for the development of processing enterprises, while 133 grants worth 555 million hryvnias were designated for horticulture and greenhouse farming. Veterans and their families also received support, with 120 grants totaling 45 million hryvnias.

eWork Project Overview:

The eWork project was introduced by the Ukrainian government in July 2022 to provide business support and stimulate the creation of new job opportunities. It encompasses several grant programs, including microgrants for starting or developing businesses, grants for establishing and developing processing enterprises, and support for orchards, vineyards, and greenhouse farming.
