Ukraine's energy outlook remains stable, with no deficit reported in the energy system as of November 28. The National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" assures that, in the coming days, there is no expectation of an energy shortage. The reduced consumption this week, attributed to milder temperatures compared to the previous week, has contributed to the current balance.
Oleksandr Kudrytskyi, a spokesperson for "Ukrenergo," emphasized that the current weather conditions do not indicate an imminent deficit. However, with the weather forecast predicting colder temperatures next week, an increase in electricity consumption is anticipated, potentially leading to a renewed deficit.
Earlier this month, on November 22-23, Ukraine faced a power deficit due to freezing weather and high emergency rates at thermal power plants. To prevent consumer disruptions, "Ukrenergo" resorted to emergency assistance from neighboring energy systems during the evening hours.
