NSDC Secretary Danilov on the destruction of Novocherkassk: Crimea is very important for us

The destruction of the Russian landing ship Novocherkassk by a missile strike shows the importance of the liberation of Crimea for Ukraine.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov stated this in an interview with Voice of America. He noted that events on the occupied peninsula show that Ukraine does not intend to give up Crimea.
“It is extremely important for us, like other territories,” Danilov said.
The NSDC Secretary added that the Constitution of Ukraine clearly outlines the borders of Ukrainian territory, recognized by the world.
According to Danilov, to date the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already destroyed 20% of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. “These are warships that we sent to where we sent the famous flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, Moscow, on April 13, 2022,” he stated.
