Sweden can donate equipment and materials that can help restore Ukraine's energy supply. The issue was handled by the Swedish power grid.
The Swedish government said that Russia is using winter and cold as a weapon against the civilian population and is trying to disable the Ukrainian power industry.
"In the past, the government provided a support package focused on air defense, which strengthens Ukraine's ability to defend itself against attacks, for example, on the energy system. The current support contributes to the reconstruction of the electricity system. Together, this support provides protection to society," said Minister of Energy and Industry Ebba Bush. .
Now several players in the Swedish energy industry have declared their readiness to provide materials for the restoration of electricity networks that would be useful in Ukraine. One such firm, Svenska kraftnät, sent a letter to the government with information about materials that might be useful in Ukraine.
