The Russian invaders suffered significant losses in December and will now use their troops at the front more "economically" in January. Military expert Mikhail Zhirokhov said this on air on Radio NV.
The expert explained that the increase in Russian losses in December can be explained precisely by their tactics at the front, because they "tried to advance as much as possible, and then count the losses later, when they occupy certain settlements or certain lines."
"As we can see, this tactic did not work. And now the Russians are counting what they have, and of course - they will try, let's say, to use more economically, if we can say so about personnel, these troops that are there, to transfer additional reserves and then advance further and carry out the strategic tasks that they face," Zhirokhov said.
In his opinion, it will be very difficult for the Russians at the front now.
"And in the near future, there will obviously not be any advancement in kilometers that we saw in December. There will be some advancement in tens, hundreds of meters, but I personally would not expect such a powerful one in January, because, obviously, the losses are quite significant even for the Russians," Zhirokhov noted.
