In Ukraine, they began to form the world's first strike companies of UAVs, which will operate as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The decision to create new units was approved by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny. A Coordination Headquarters has also been created, which will implement the necessary reforms and scale up the production of drones for defense needs.
"The most professional military personnel have already been selected to lead the strike companies. Each of them will receive drones and ammunition, Starlink and other necessary equipment to defeat the enemy in hot spots," the message says.
