As a result of the night shelling by the Russian occupiers of the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person died.
This was announced by the mayor of Nikopol Oleksandr Sayuk. According to him, on the night of February 9, Russian shelling damaged private houses, cars, and city infrastructure.
The mayor of Nikopol also noted that the gas pipeline and power lines were damaged in the city.
"February 9, Thursday, morning. Evening, night in alarm, with shelling. At the moment, it is known about damage to 16 private houses, 2 cars, 7 farm buildings, a private enterprise. 1 farm building was destroyed. Power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged. Specialists are working over their restoration. Unfortunately, as a result of the shelling, 1 person died," he said.
Sayuk noted that the local government and utility companies continue to work on eliminating the consequences of shelling, and all infrastructure in the city is working. He also urged not to ignore alarm signals.
