The main direction of the Russian strike remains the Bakhmut segment of the front. During the day, the enemy struck 167 times with various types of barreled rocket artillery, 41 clashes occurred, during which Russia lost 212 servicemen killed and 315 wounded.

Sergei Cherevaty, representative of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about this on the air of the national telethon.

"In the area directly of Bakhmut, 48 shelling and 19 hits took place. Fights were also fought in the areas of Torsky, Fedorovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovsky and Chasovoy Yar. The enemy also continues attacks in the Limansky direction in the Donetsk region. There, for many days in a row, the enemy sets records for hitting artillery fire “During this day, 424 shellings with various types of artillery and 23 hits took place. The enemy also lost 69 killed and 126 wounded, there are also significant losses of equipment,” he said.

Such losses are tangible for the Russian army.

Cherevaty recalled that even Western analysts note that the dynamics of Russia's losses is simply not comparable to any combat operations of modern-type armies.

“When the bill goes to companies and battalions per day, this means that their tactical medicine does not meet quality standards, their combat tactics do not meet modern requirements, and many other factors. Their number, which they recruited during mobilization, did not develop into the quality of the conduct of hostilities," the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are now exhausting the enemy in the east and causing him losses in manpower and equipment, which certainly affects both the conduct of hostilities by the enemy and his moral and psychological state. Thus, the Defense Forces exhaust the invading army in order to prevent it from conducting large offensive operations.
