Russian invaders fired at an apartment building in the city of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. 12 civilians were injured. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine on Telegram.
"According to the investigation, this morning, Russian troops shelled the city of Pokrovsk. The shells of the invaders hit an apartment building, as a result of which the upper floors were almost completely destroyed. Twelve civilians were injured," the report says.
One citizen was sent to the Dnieper by medical aviation due to super-severe injuries, others are receiving medical care at a local hospital.
Rescue operations are currently underway, as there may still be people under the rubble.
Prosecutors, law enforcement officers and rescuers are working on the spot. Priority measures are being taken to fix the crime committed by the army of the aggressor country. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war - Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
