American veteran Mark Lindqvist, who collected almost a hundred thousand dollars for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, flew to Vinnitsa. A military pilot travels to Ukrainian cities that have suffered because of the Russians, in order to later tell the Americans about everything, TSN says.
In the city of Fargo, North Dakota, during the twenty-degree frosts and snowstorms at night, American veteran Mark Lindquist lived in a tent for almost three weeks as a sign of solidarity with the Ukrainian fighters. I filmed everything on video and collected donations for the fighters.
After collecting $100,000 in the United States, Mark traveled around Ukraine: Dnipro, Zaporozhye, Vinnitsa - a special tour for a special volunteer was conducted by representatives of the Ukrainian Air Force Headquarters. Mark visited the bombed-out square, saw the destroyed building of culture and did not hold back his emotions. “I am very angry. I see here a violation of the freedom of Ukraine and Ukrainians, these are the principles in which we believe. That is why I am here now,” the man says.
Struck by what he saw in Vinnitsa, Mark Lindqvist writes down an appeal to his compatriots right on the spot, because, as a fighter pilot, he understands the need for Ukrainians to fight aircraft. “My name is Mark Lindquist and I am a US Air Force veteran and volunteer. I ask all Americans to contact our government and the Pentagon, asking them to send F-16s to these combat-ready fighters so that they can fight for their freedom, ”Mark urges.
Ukrainian pilots are already preparing to fly modern fighters, they say at the headquarters of the Ukrainian Air Force, for this they choose the best of the best. “Our pilots have studied English, a level of proficiency sufficient to master the technique. Also, the engineering and technical staff is being prepared, ”they say at the headquarters.
The air force veteran tells his compatriots about his impressions not only in social networks, but also at his charity concerts. On the anniversary of the full-scale invasion, he goes home to collect new aid and promises that he will be with Ukraine until victory.
