In the Kherson region on March 5, due to the shelling of the Russian army, three people died, two of them were children.
The head of the regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, announced this on Telegram.
According to him, the Russian military from heavy artillery and "Gradov" shelled the Kherson region 74 times a day, fired 354 shells at it.
Kherson was shelled four times, 23 shells hit private and apartment buildings.
During the day, the Russian army attacked the Berislav, Novoaleksandrovskaya and Tyaginskaya territorial communities. In particular, they fired at Berislav, Zmievka, the village of Tomarine, Novoaleksandrovka, Mikhailovka, Gavrilovka, Zolotaya Balka, Tyaginka, Olgovka, Lvov and Burgunka. As a result of the shelling, residential houses and outbuildings of residents were damaged. There are no dead or injured.
On the facts of the crimes of the Russian military in the Kherson region, law enforcement officers opened 35 criminal proceedings in two days, the regional police reported on Facebook.
"In the regional center, a church, private houses in coastal areas, high-rise buildings in the Korabel, KhBK, Tavrichesky and Severny microdistricts were hit by the enemy. The blast wave shattered windows in the apartments, smashed the facades of buildings, smashed the roofs. Investigative police teams worked at the scene of shelling , examined the territory and collected material evidence of the armed aggression of the Russian army," the statement said.
