The Ukrainian side officially denied Russian media reports about the victims of the attack on the bridge, calling it propaganda and another provocation by the Russian Federation. The head of the press center of the Operational Command South, Natalya Gumenyuk, suggested that the latest events on the Crimean bridge are not an attack by the Ukrainians, but a provocation by the Russians themselves.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Pravda publication reported that it had sources proving that the SBU took part in the attack. The publication claims that it has information from an anonymous source, and also referred to the telegram channel of the security service of Ukraine, in which a message appeared with a paraphrase of the Ukrainian folk song (їkhav, їkhav kozak mistom) with the words: nightingale, dear brother, new mist pishov “sleep ”, which, according to the publication, also indicates that the attack was carried out by intelligence officers.
Meanwhile, the SBU indirectly confirmed their participation in the blowing up of the Crimean bridge. The head of the security service of Ukraine, Vasily Malyuk, recalled that the traditions of warfare make it possible to cut logistical routes for military purposes, and the Crimean bridge is one of such goals.
