For a week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have made significant progress on the southern front and in the Bakhmut direction. Now active battles are being waged in several areas in the direction of Melitopol and Berdyansk, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar said during a broadcast from the Military Media Center.
During the entire time of the counter-offensive in the south, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated more than 192 sq. km of territories, and over the past week in this direction, the defense forces - more than 12 square meters. km.
At the same time, about 35 sq. km of territory, including for the past week - about 4 sq. km. km.
Key battles continue in the area of Kleschievka, Andreevka, Kurdyumovka.
