Invaders failed offensives in two directions - General Staff

The Russian invaders tried to advance in the Kupyansk and Bakhmut directions, but were defeated.
As noted in the message on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 34 military clashes occurred during the day.
"In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of hope and south of Novoselovsky, Luhansk region. More than 15 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling of the enemy," the report says.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy also conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Bogdanovka area of the Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements suffered from enemy artillery shelling in this direction.
In the Shakhtyorsky direction, the invaders made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position in the Staromayorsky district of the Donetsk region. In the area of this settlement, they launched an air strike.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Avdiivka area of the Donetsk region. The occupiers in this direction launched an air strike in the region of the Northern Donetsk region, and more than 10 settlements were subjected to artillery shelling.
"In the Maryinsky direction, the defense forces continue to restrain the offensive of Russian troops in the area of the city of Maryinka, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were subjected to artillery shelling," the General Staff noted.
In the Liman direction, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of four settlements, and six more were subjected to artillery shelling.
"In the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy launched an air strike in the area of Malaya Tokmachka, Zaporozhye region. More than 15 settlements were subjected to artillery shelling," the General Staff said.
In the Kherson direction, the invaders launched an air strike in the area of the Cossack Kherson region, more than 20 settlements were subjected to artillery shelling by the enemy.
In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the invaders launched air strikes in the areas of four settlements, carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 25 settlements.
