Successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the enemy failed to advance in the areas of Avdiivka and Maryinka

Ukrainian defenders and defenders continue to hold back the Russian offensive and repel enemy attacks. In particular, it was possible to successfully repel an attack by Russians near Avdiivka and an offensive in the Maryinka area.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, more than 30 clashes with the enemy took place at the front. In particular, in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled the attacks of Russian troops in the Avdiivka area. In addition, in the Maryinka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Maryinka area of the Donetsk region.
In other "hot" areas, the Russians continued to shell the front-line settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops over the past day. dozens of villages and towns suffered as a result of shelling by mortars, artillery and aviation.
At the same time, according to the General Staff, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction. There, Ukrainian troops are entrenched on the achieved lines and are conducting a counter-battery fight.
