The occupiers brought 750,000 school textbooks to the territories of the Luhansk region temporarily not controlled by Ukraine, which can distort the understanding of children about Ukrainian history.
The vast majority of books are about the "history of the Russian Federation", which plays a key role in the "education" system that Russia plans to introduce in Ukrainian schools, the Center for National Resistance notes.
They indicate that these books are brought to replace Ukrainian textbooks. The latter are removed from school libraries and burned.
"In this system, schools are essentially centers of propaganda and their main function is to brainwash Ukrainian children. This is only part of the targeted policy of the enemy aimed at destroying an entire generation of our nation," the CNS points out.
