Head of the National Police Ivan Vyhovsky said this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
“About 400 police officers who remained in the occupied territories and then began working for the enemy in law enforcement quasi-formations were reported in absentia on suspicion of treason. The figure seems to be large, but of the total number of police officers it is less than 0.4%,” he said . .
According to him, work is underway on another 400 police officers remaining in the occupied territories - their probable involvement in cooperation with the Russians is being worked out.
Vygovsky added that everyone who refused to leave the TOT was fired from the police.
As reported, the procedural leadership of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor's Office informed six law enforcement officers of suspicion of treason.
