Attack on Kyiv: two dead reported, number of injured sharply increases

As a result of the attack by Russian "shahids" on Kyiv, according to the latest data from local authorities, 16 people were injured. In addition, there were reports of two dead.
As reported by the capital's mayor Vitali Klitschko, 10 injured were hospitalized, others were helped on the spot.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) Timur Tkachenko reported the dead. "Unfortunately, there are two dead. These people were killed by Russians. This is a terrible loss. My condolences to their families and friends," he wrote.
He added that there is a lot of smoke from fires in the city after the enemy attack. "After returning home from shelters, close the windows. There is a lot of smoke," Tkachenko urged.
As added by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, two women were killed. "Two women died in the Podolsk district: a 68-year-old resident of the capital and a 22-year-old police corporal, a metro police officer," the report says.
The National Police detailed that in the Podolsk district, debris hit a dormitory, as a result of which the women died, and another 10 people were injured.
The National Police also reported on the scale of the destruction in the city. In particular, residential buildings, dormitories, service stations, a garage cooperative, vehicles, shopping center premises, road surfaces and tram tracks were damaged.
"As of 8.20, destruction and falling debris were recorded in the Goloseevsky, Darnitsky, Desnyansky, Dniprovsky, Obolonsky, Podolsky, Solomyansky and Shevchenkovsky districts," the report says.
In addition to the capital, the Kyiv region was also damaged. Thus, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, a 51-year-old man was wounded in the Obukhov district. He was hospitalized.
The consequences of the enemy attack are recorded in 4 districts of the region.
