The Hamas attacks on Israel that began on Saturday morning were planned weeks earlier with the assistance of Iranian intelligence services.
The Wall Street Journal writes about this with reference to senior members of Hamas and Hezbollah. Planning began in August, with details clarified at meetings that took place every two weeks.
Thus, Iranian security forces helped plan Hamas' surprise attack on Israel on Saturday and gave the green light for the attack at a meeting in Beirut last Monday.
