Europe may soon face strong pressure to accept an agreement with the Russian Federation.
This statement was made by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski at a meeting of ambassadors of the French Republic in Paris, he reported in the X microblog. According to him, it is important not to agree to an agreement that will allow Moscow to recover.
Sikorski noted that Europe is much stronger than Moscow believes, while Russia is much weaker than many Europeans think:
"Ukraine deserves peace, it needs peace. But it must be peace on fair terms, not capitulation. We should not impose strict time limits on our support: this will encourage Russia to continue fighting. Instead, we must do everything possible to improve Kyiv's position in future negotiations."
