The State Property Fund of Ukraine reported that it had raised more than UAH 21.4 million in a single day through five privatization auctions. The competitive spirit was evident, as each of the five auctions saw the participation of an average of more than six bidders. The substantial increase in the total value of the assets was particularly noteworthy.
The most valuable asset sold during these auctions was a woodworking enterprise located in Volyn. Eight entrepreneurs vied for this asset, and the winning bid reached UAH 20 million, a staggering tenfold increase over the starting price. Additionally, the successful bidder is required to pay UAH 4 million in value-added tax (VAT).
A fierce competition also unfolded for an administrative building in Dnipropetrovsk. This property witnessed the participation of ten bidders, and the final selling price escalated from a starting point of UAH 31,000 to an impressive UAH 752,000.
The remaining lots offered for sale were administrative real estate properties situated in the Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, and Rivne regions.
This latest achievement by the State Property Fund follows the success of eight privatization auctions conducted in the previous week, which contributed UAH 59 million to the state budget.
