The 47th separate mechanized brigade "Magura" repelled a massive assault by Russians in the Kursk region together with adjacent units of the Defense Forces.
As noted in the press service of the brigade, the enemy used a huge amount of equipment and personnel. The first in the Russian columns were tanks with mine-clearing machines to clear passages.
The attacks were carried out in 6 waves. The brigade noted that the enemy also tried to break through with tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and even buggies - in total, about 50 units of equipment were used.
"But all units of the 47th Magur Brigade acted as one mechanism and gave the enemy a good thrashing. Tanks, BMP-2, BMD, APC, buggy and Lancet - our soldiers and their allies burned tens of millions of dollars' worth of enemy equipment. And the enemy's combat losses in personnel were practically a company: 45 Russians were destroyed, 53 - three-hundredths," Magur noted.
