In a recent announcement on Telegram, Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov highlighted the ongoing collaboration between Ukraine and Microsoft. The multinational tech giant is investing in the development of cloud services within Ukraine, contributing to the country's digital transformation efforts since the establishment of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
According to Fedorov, Microsoft has already provided over $540 million in aid, including free services, technical support, equipment, and grants. This substantial support plays a crucial role in the digitization of government institutions and the protection of data.
"This year, Microsoft will once again grant access to cloud services for Ukraine. Government enterprises, regional authorities, schools, universities, and hospitals will benefit from free cloud services until the end of 2024," as stated in the announcement.
