Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, introduced the Cybertruck, a pickup truck constructed from glossy stainless steel. Priced at over $60,000, the vehicle represents a leap into the future, combining sleek surfaces with unconventional bends. Musk expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Finally, the future will look like the future."
Experts note that the Cybertruck's unconventional material and futuristic design may deter traditional pickup buyers who prioritize practicality. While Musk did not disclose the exact price during the presentation, Tesla's website provides starting prices for different configurations, ranging from approximately $100,000 to $80,000, with availability starting next year.
The rear-wheel-drive variant, with an estimated starting price of around $61,000, is slated for release in 2025. Musk also highlighted the truck's impressive capabilities, with a payload capacity of 1,134 kg and a towing capacity of 4,990 kg.
