As part of the Estonian Children's Film Club, a series of Ukrainian films will be showcased during December, adding a touch of Ukrainian cinematic flair to Estonian screens.
Screening Highlights: On December 2nd, the picturesque city of Kuressaare will feature the screening of the children's artistic film "Ivan Strength," directed by Viktor Andriyenko. On December 3rd, the city of Viru will offer a viewing of the Ukrainian knightly fantasy tale "Jura Prince."
Moving ahead to December 12th, Tartu will host the presentation of Ukrainian animated children's films, including "King Whiner and Tickleton" and "The Stolen Moon. Kum."
This project, titled "Ukrainian Children's Film Club in Estonia/Ukraina kinoklubi Ukraina sõjapõgenikest noortele," is made possible with the support of the Integration Fund (Integratsiooni Sihtasutus) and the Ministry of Culture of Estonia.
A reminder about the initiation of the Ukrainian Children's Film Club in Estonia was announced in October 2023, and its realization now brings the promise of cultural joy and shared cinematic experiences for both Estonian and Ukrainian youths.
