Over the past 24 hours, December 1, the Russian occupation forces advanced in six directions of the front, but achieved no success.
According to the General Staff in its morning report, a total of 84 military clashes took place yesterday. In particular, in the Kupyansk direction, the invaders advanced in the areas of Sinkovka, Kharkov region, and Stelmakhovka, Lugansk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks.
At the same time, in the Liman direction, our defenders repulsed eight attacks, the Russians carried out assault operations in the Serebryansky forestry area of the Lugansk region. In the Bakhmut direction, enemy troops advanced in the areas of Grigorovka, Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Kleshchievka and Andreevka of the Donetsk region, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 21 attacks. At the same time, the defense forces continued their assault operations south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their positions on the achieved lines.
In the Avdeevka direction, Russian interventionists are trying to encircle Avdeevka; our troops repelled 21 attacks. The occupiers tried to break through in areas south of Novokalinovye, Stepnoye, Avdeevka, Severnoye, Pervomaiskoye, Donetsk region. At the same time, in the Maryinsky direction they carried out assault operations in the Novomikhailovka area of the Donetsk region.
Over the past 24 hours, in the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy unsuccessfully carried out assaults 8 times to restore the lost position in the Rabotino areas of the Zaporozhye region, and also advanced west of Verbovoye, Zaporozhye region, where our defenders repulsed another 4 attacks.
At the same time, the Defense Forces continue to advance in the Melitopol direction and hold their positions on the left bank of the Kherson region. On the left bank of the Dnieper they continue to conduct counter-battery combat and inflict fire on the enemy’s rear.
