In a recent statement, North Korea announced the successful deployment of a spy satellite into Earth's orbit on November 22. The nation further revealed plans to launch additional such space apparatuses to enhance its reconnaissance capabilities. The defense ministry representative stated that North Korea would respond to any U.S. interference by targeting and destroying American reconnaissance satellites.

"If the United States attempts to violate the legitimate territory of a sovereign state, unlawfully and unjustly using advanced technologies, North Korea will consider the use of measures in self-defense to undermine or destroy the viability of American satellites," declared the representative of North Korea's Defense Ministry.

This development has triggered condemnation from Ukraine, Japan, South Korea, the United States, and other Western nations. They strongly criticized North Korea's satellite launch, especially its use of ballistic technologies, urging an end to any actions posing a threat to peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and globally.
