The latest list of US weapons that Ukraine needs to fight the Russian army includes advanced air defense systems, F-18 Hornet fighter jets, drones, and Apache and Black Hawk helicopters. This was reported by Reuters with reference to relevant documents.
It is noted that officials of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented “a list of weapons to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces” the day before during a closed meeting in Washington with the participation of officials and heads of enterprises of the US military-industrial complex.
According to media reports, the list also included Abrams tanks, 155 mm artillery, F-16 fighter jets, drones and ATACMS missiles.
In addition, Kyiv is asking Washington for C-17 Globemaster and C-130 Super Hercules transport aircraft, MQ-9B Sky Guardian drones and the THAAD air defense system.
