Heavy fighting continues at the front, with 95 clashes occurring within 24 hours. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its morning report, talking about the situation in the hottest areas.
In particular, in the Kupyansky direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 11 enemy attacks in the Sinkovka areas, northeast of Petropavlovka and Ivanovka, Kharkov region.
In the Liman direction, defense forces repelled an enemy attack in the Spornoye area of the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repulsed 13 enemy attacks in the Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Kleshchievka and Andreevka areas of the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines.
“In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who is not abandoning attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers staunchly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The defense forces successfully repelled 35 enemy attacks in the areas east of Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoy, Avdiivka, Tonenky, Pervomaisky, Donetsk region.” , says the summary.
It is also very hot in the Maryinsky direction, where defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region; our defenders repulsed 24 attacks in 24 hours.
In the Shakhtarsky and Zaporozhye directions, the defense forces also repelled all attacks of the enemy, who was trying to restore the lost position in the areas west of Ivovoye, Zaporozhye region.
“At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian defense forces continue to actively inflict losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire front line,” the General Staff reports.
In the Kherson direction, the defense forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, continue to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on the enemy’s rear.
In total, the enemy launched 28 missile and 27 air strikes, and carried out 59 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded civilians
At the same time, units of the missile forces of the Defense Forces defeated 6 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 1 enemy electronic warfare station. Also, 14 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces and means.
