Ukraine and Bulgaria have taken a significant step towards environmental conservation by joining forces for the restoration of the Ukrainian environment. The signing of a memorandum during the COP28 in Dubai marked the initiation of joint initiatives between the two nations.

Ruslan Strelets, Ukraine's Minister for Environmental Protection, expressed gratitude towards Bulgaria for their collaborative leadership and constant support. He highlighted the importance of their joint efforts in strengthening environmental cooperation and anticipates positive outcomes from this collaboration.
Ukraine's Pavilion at COP28
During the COP28 conference, Ukraine's Pavilion served as a symbol of the nation's resilience and dedication in combating climate adversaries. Operated by teams from Ukraine's Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, it received substantial support from various entities including the European Union, the German Federal Government, IKI, GIZ, UNDP in Ukraine, UN Global Compact, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and DTEK Group.
Collaborative Efforts for Change
The Pavilion's concept was developed by Gres Todorchuk agency in collaboration with the architectural office "FORMA" and the Ukrainian production agency how.production. This collaborative effort aimed to showcase Ukraine's stance on environmental sustainability and reform architecture.
Pavilion Operation
The Ukrainian Pavilion at COP28 in Dubai will remain operational until December 12th, acting as a beacon for global environmental collaboration and Ukraine's proactive measures in combating climate change.
