One of the waste heaps within Gorlovka was repelled and enemy positions were captured, there are Russian prisoners.
This is stated in the video of the Ground Forces, which was posted on Telegram by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
The message notes that the assault group of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Daniel, the royal brigade, are our heroes.
“Despite difficult conditions, we recaptured one of the waste heaps within Gorlovka and captured enemy positions. Now our flag of Ukraine flies over the waste heap,” the note says.
The video shows 5 prisoners of the Russian army who were taken on a waste heap. “Happy Ukrainian Ground Forces Day. Behind us is our Ukrainian Gorlovka, our Donetsk. Donbass is Ukraine. We will definitely win!” - Ukrainian soldiers say this on the waste heap and plant the Ukrainian flag.
