There are no Russian occupiers in Kupyansk Levoberezhny and Kupyansk Uzlovy. This was stated by the commander of the Battalion of strike unmanned aerial systems "ACHILLES" of the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Koshevoy Ataman Sirko Yuriy Fedorenko in an interview with Ukrainian Radio.
According to him, the unit is currently continuing to carry out tasks in two sections simultaneously. The first is the Kharkiv region, the village of Glubokoe. The situation in this section is unchanged, the Defense Forces manage to promptly identify, defeat the enemy and prevent the possibility of passing through our battle formations.
As for the state border line, where there is currently no active military action in the Kharkiv region, the activity of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups continues to be high, but they are promptly identified and destroyed. The initiative is entirely in the hands of the Defense Forces.
"The second direction where we are carrying out tasks is Kupyanshchina - it is very difficult now. What is this connected with? Because the enemy was given the task of capturing Kupyansk Levoberezhny and Kupyansk Uzlovy by November 1. The enemy was unable to complete this task, then the deadline was postponed until the New Year. As a result, their leadership, Russian occupation generals, came to the enemy, checked the personnel, put everyone who could hold a weapon in their hands into action. Also, additional reserves of both equipment and manpower were added in order to build up efforts and try to complete this task before the New Year. As of today, there is no enemy in Kupyansk Levoberezhny and Kupyansk Uzlovy, despite constant attempts to get there," Fedorenko said.
As the military man noted, the enemy has not had any success in the last month. The Defense Forces have almost completely driven the enemy out of the Kolesnikovsky forest. If we talk about the territory downstream - Zagryzovo and the Lozovaya direction - there the enemy has had partial successes in the recent period, but also at the moment it has been suspended.
"The enemy's tactics are "armor", that is, armored vehicles, which he uses in quantities of 5 to 20 units at a time. A tank with a trawl moves ahead, with one task - to remove minefields. Other vehicles cover with the firepower of their cannons, as well as heavy machine guns, on top of which there is assault infantry of five infantrymen. That is, the enemy can move 30-50 infantrymen at a time. There is one task - to reach the front line of the clash as quickly as possible or break through our battle formations, rush the infantry, pull back the equipment. The infantry regroups and then tries to knock out the Defense Forces from their positions," Fedorenko explained.
The military man also added that the last two assaults carried out by the enemy resulted in the enemy losing 50% of its equipment after the first assault. All manpower was destroyed within 3.5 hours. This is more than 40 infantrymen.
The second assault by the enemy was 5 units of equipment: 4 of them were burned by the ACHILLES battalion, the assault infantry was partially destroyed on the approaches. The armored vehicle itself made successful "flights", the rest were finished off while trying to take their initial positions. Fedorenko summed up that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are managing to actively not only disrupt the enemy's advance, but also hold our land.
