The premiere of the second season of the historical project "Ukrainian Palaces: Golden Age" has unveiled intriguing narratives about the lives intertwined with Ukrainian palaces, many of which bore the brunt of destruction in the 20th century. Supported by USAID, this documentary series collaborates with historians, architects specializing in 3D reconstructions, and VFX experts to recreate the original splendor of these estates and unravel their histories deliberately erased during the Soviet era. The project team unearthed unique artifacts once owned by the palace's proprietors, as highlighted in the announcement.

The new season promises to delve into the narratives of the ancient estate of the Cossack lineage, the Kochubeis in Dykanka in the Poltava region, the former residence of the last scion of the princely Vishnevetsky family in the Ternopil region, and the story of Grigory Galagan, a prominent advocate for the abolition of serfdom, and his palace in Sokiryntsi in the Chernihiv region. One episode is dedicated to the palace of the renowned Cossack clan, the Myklashevskys, in the village of Bilenke in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The program will air two episodes every Sunday at 11:30 on the 2+2 channel. Additionally, the project will be available on the YouTube channel "Real History" a few days after its television premiere.

As previously reported, in late April 2022, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the unique historical project authored by Akim Galimov, "Ukrainian Palaces: Golden Age," commenced.
