The Russian occupiers carried out offensive operations on the left bank of the Kherson region and succeeded.

According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), geolocation footage published on December 11 shows the advance of the invaders south of Krynki (30 km northeast of the Kherson region and 2 km from the Dnieper River).

On December 12, Russian military bloggers said that Russian troops had pushed Ukrainian forces back from certain positions near Krynki and that Ukrainian forces had unsuccessfully tried to gain a foothold in the forest near the village.

In addition, on December 12, Ukrainian troops continued offensive operations northeast and south of Bakhmut and advanced there.

At the same time, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky published footage of Ukrainian troops raising the flag over the Gorlovka waste heap (22 km southeast of Bakhmut or slightly west of Gorlovka). Russian "military correspondents" admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces control the waste heap.

On December 12, Russian troops continued their offensive operations in the Avdeevka area at an increased pace. Geolocation footage released on December 12 shows that Russian troops have advanced southwest of Avdiivka.

Russian troops also continued ground attacks west and southwest of the city of Donetsk and confirmed the offensive. Geolocation footage released on December 11 shows that Russian troops have advanced northwest of Marinka.
