Oles Horodetskyi, head of the Ukrainian community and chairman of the Christian Society of Ukrainians in Italy, participated in the recent Forum for Oppressed Peoples of Russia, emphasizing support for independence movements within the Russian Federation. He highlighted the significance of backing Ukraine amidst discussions where speakers addressed the backing of various independence movements, albeit most being currently small in scale.

The Forum's Objective
The Free Peoples of Post-Russia Forum serves as an international platform uniting Russian regional leaders, dissidents, members of opposition movements within Russia, and representatives of national liberation movements. Its aim revolves around the transformation of the Russian Federation.

Upcoming Discussions in Berlin
The follow-up discussions are slated to occur in Berlin on the 14th of December, marking the continuation of this dialogue on oppressed peoples and the path towards transformation within Russia.

Recent Involvement of Ukrainian Communities
Over a hundred representatives from Ukrainian communities across Europe, Australia, North and South America engaged in the conference themed "Integration, Affirmation, Disinformation, Assimilation?" held within the European Forum of the Ukrainian Diaspora in Novi Sad, Serbia. This event showcased a global participation in discussions concerning integration, affirmation of identities, the impact of disinformation, and the challenges of assimilation.
