The bustling city of Istanbul has set the stage for a cultural extravaganza as it welcomes the Ukrainian Film Days from December 14 onwards. This event promises a vibrant display of Ukraine's cinematic prowess through screenings featuring some of the finest contemporary and classic movies.

Opening Gala and Collaborative Efforts
The inauguration of the Ukrainian Film Days in Istanbul witnessed the presence of Istanbul's municipal representatives, foreign diplomats, and members of the Ukrainian community. This initiative, jointly organized by the General Consulate of Ukraine and the Istanbul municipality, received support from various Ukrainian entities like the State Cinema Agency, the "Watch Ukrainian" association, and Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Film Highlights and Schedule
The program for the Ukrainian Film Days in Istanbul boasts an exciting lineup of movies scheduled for screenings. Among the featured films are "The Stronghold" on December 17, "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" on December 19, "The Rising Hawk" on December 20, along with "Klondike" and "1944. Crimea. Deportation" both on December 22.

This cinematic celebration not only serves as a platform for showcasing Ukraine's cinematic brilliance but also fosters cultural exchange and strengthens the bonds between Ukraine and Turkey.
