At night, the invaders massively attacked the south of Ukraine. In the Odessa region, due to falling debris from a downed drone, several were injured, including a teenager. One person also died.
“At night, the enemy attacked the southern regions with attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type. Two waves of attacks with an interval of 15 minutes amounted to 7 hours of intense combat work. The air defense forces destroyed 17 kamikaze drones: 12 in the Odessa region, 3 in Nikolaevskaya, 2 - in the Vinnytsia region," the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine reported.
In addition, the invaders attacked Kherson, but information on the victims is still being clarified.
“The enemy concentrated a strike on Kherson, a shopping center and apartment buildings were damaged there. The warehouses of an agricultural research institution were also hit. Information on the victims is being clarified,” the message says.
It is noted that in the Odessa region the enemy focused on attacking the regional center. The air defense forces cleared all enemy targets, but the debris of the downed UAVs fell on one of the uninhabited new buildings. Also, a drone shot down in the air crashed onto country houses in the suburbs of Odessa.
According to the Defense Forces, a fire broke out and has already been extinguished. One person was killed and three were injured, including a 17-year-old teenager.
The military also released photos and videos of the consequences of the fall of the downed Shahed in the Odessa region.
According to the head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, a drone shot down in the air fell on country houses, where a 35-year-old man died as a result of the attack. Among the wounded are a 37-year-old woman and a teenager. The victims received numerous wounds and are in a moderate condition in one of the medical institutions, where they are receiving all the necessary care.
