80 clashes per day: The General Staff spoke about the most difficult areas at the front

Over the past 24 hours, there have been 80 military clashes on the front line; it was very “hot” in the Avdeevsky direction - there our defenders repulsed about 30 attacks by the Russians. This was announced by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in its morning report on the situation with the Russian invasion.
“In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not abandon attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers staunchly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. Thus, over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces repulsed 13 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutovka, Avdiivka and 16 attacks near Pervomaisky and Nevelsky Donetsk region," the message says.
As the General Staff notes, in the Maryinsky direction, our soldiers continue to hold back the enemy in the Novomikhailovka and Pobeda areas of the Donetsk region, where 7 attacks were repelled.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 8 enemy attacks in the Sinkovka areas and northeast of Petropavlovka, Kharkov region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops.
In the Liman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks in the Serebryansky Lesnichestvo areas of the Luhansk region and Vesely, Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 8 enemy attacks near the settlements of Bogdanovka, Kleshchievka and Andreevka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsky direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the defense forces repulsed 9 enemy attacks in the Rabotino area and west of Verbovoy, Zaporozhye region.
“In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders continue measures to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. Thus, over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 14 unsuccessful assault operations, received a worthy rebuff and retreated,” the General Staff said .
In the Volyn and Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
It is noted that over the past 24 hours, the enemy in general carried out 8 missile and 60 air strikes, carried out 69 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
