Over the past 24 hours, January 3, 58 military clashes took place at the front between Ukrainian defenders and Russian occupiers.
As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning report, in the Kupyansky direction the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled three attacks of invaders in the Sinkovka area and east of Petropavlovka, Kharkov region.
At the same time, in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy was advancing near Bogdanovka and Andreevka, Donetsk region. Four attacks repelled. Fighting also continues in the Avdeevsky direction. Our troops are holding back the enemy who wants to surround Avdiivka.
“Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Thus, over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces have repelled 13 attacks near Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoe, Avdeevka and another 19 attacks in the Severny, Pervomaisky and Nevelskoye areas of the Donetsk region,” the General Staff said.
In the Maryinsky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to contain the enemy near Georgievka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region. There yesterday she repelled 14 attacks. It was calmer in the Zaporozhye direction; one attack was repelled near Rabotinoye, Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian troops continue to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy is trying to dislodge our defenders from their positions. Over the past 24 hours, the invaders carried out 9 assaults, but all of them were repulsed.
