Ukrainian air defense shot down the first attack drone "Shahed-238" with a Chinese jet engine.
This was reported by military communications expert Sergei Flesh in his Telegram channel. “I flew to the middle of the country. I walked at a speed of more than 500 km/h. I didn’t think that they would appear here so quickly. Iran recently showed it for the first time at an exhibition,” he added.
The expert notes that such drones can fly throughout the country using a jet engine. In addition, they will fly to Ukraine faster and can maneuver.
At the same time, Flash notes that these drones do not have any “superweapons” - a regular charge and navigation. The speed of the UAV is high - air defense is working, but mobile groups must be armed with MANPADS such as "Osa", "Igla" or "Stinger", since the "anti-aircraft guns" will not be shot down.
“Ukrainians should know that, in addition to the sound of a moped in the sky, there is now the sound of an airplane. The good news is that we shot it down,” Flesh added.
