Musk's Department Gains Access to Secret Immigrant Database - WP

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), headed by billionaire Elon Musk, has received permission to access a classified Justice Department database that contains the addresses and case histories of millions of immigrants.
As The Washington Post (WP) reports, citing internal documents, this is the Executive Office for Immigration Review's (ECAS) Trial and Appeal System.
"ECAS stores records of immigrants who have interacted with the US immigration system, including their names, addresses, previous immigration court appearances, and any history of interactions with law enforcement, among other things," the publication wrote.
The US Department of Justice website explains that ECAS provides full immigration case management - from start to finish, storing all related documents electronically.
According to WP, six DOGE advisers who work for the Ministry of Justice have been granted access to ECAS.
