According to the General Staff in its morning report, in the Kupyansky direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 5 attacks of the invaders near Sinkovka, Kharkov region.
In the Liman direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful attacks east of Ternov, Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops repulsed two more attacks in the Bakhmut direction in the Kleshchievka and Andreevka areas of the Donetsk region.
“In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers staunchly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. Thus, over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces repulsed 3 enemy attacks near Avdiivka, Severny, Tonenky and another 15 attacks nearby Pervomaisky and Nevelsky, Donetsk region,” the General Staff added.
In the Maryinsky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the Georgievka and Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region. 12 attacks were repulsed there. At the same time, in the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy tried to break through to the south of Krasnoe, west of Verbovoy and north of Novoprokopovka. The defense forces repelled seven attacks.
“In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian defenders continue measures to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 12 unsuccessful assault operations on the positions of the Defense Forces. At the same time, our The soldiers continue to actively inflict losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire front line,” the department noted.
